I am trying to trce any family of Harold H manning born in 1893 in America but a british subject. Was living in Kidderminster in 1901 with Joseph Manning his brother(my grandfather). Their parents names were Joseph and Sarah. Joseph senior was a tailor by trade. I believe Harold may have been living in the Bewdley area. Thank you any information would be of great interest.
William Sugden - Timber Merchant
William Sugden was a timber merchant who also made bobbins and shuttles for the carpet industry' between 1850 and 1870.He had premises in Hoo Road and Stourbridge Street. He married Ann Collins in 1855, daughter of William Collins, land agent. Is anything else known of these families?

Dennis, John & Thomas Tuffy
I am tracing my mothers maiden name 'Tuffy'. My Grandfather was Dennis John Tuffy. His father was John Joseph Tuffy and his Grandfather was Thomas Tuffy. Thomas Tuffy (b.1866 - Stourbridge. d.1934 - Kidderminster) was a Blacksmith and worked at the Chlidema. John Joseph Tuffy (b.1893 d.1954 Kidderminster) was a Rolling Mill Forman at the Stourvale works of Richard Thomas and Baldwins Ltd. He was also involved with the Kidderminster cricket team. John (mostly known as Joe) Tuffy fought in the Great War in the RFA 2nd South Midland Brigade. My Grandfather Dennis John Tuffy (b.1921. d.1981 - Kidderminster) was a Bus driver and later a caretaker at the old Kidderminster Library. My Grandad faught in World War Two. He joined the local Teritorials before the outbreak of the war and was at Dunkirk. I have tried to get my Grandads army service records but unfortunately I don't have his army number, so they couldn't find them. I would be really greatful to anyone who could offer information or advice to help me locate his army records. I'm also looking for a photograph of my Great Great Grandfather Thomas Tuffy. I know it's extremely unlikely that one will surface but it can't hurt to ask. I would love to hear from anyone who knew the people I have mentioned and could provide me with information. An ancestor of mine, surname JEFFERY or JEFFERYS, reputedly made a carpet for the musician De Souza, carpet then shipped to the USA. Grateful for any information. His mother was an AINSWORTH, his wife a HICKSON with CLARK (or CLARKE )and BRADLEY relatives. Thanks.
