Entries around

red mail ALLEN Richard / MUNDAY Hannah
Researching Allen family that fell both sides of the border, both in Westwood Wiltshire and then Hinton Charterhouse and Norton St Philip in Somerset. The above married in Westwood around 1823. Children included Charles who is a direct ancestor and who married Sarah Packer. Interested as much in the history economy and society of the area as I am in the individuals.
red mail Allen and Hill Family of Westwood
I am interested in the Allen family of Westwood, particularly John and Frances Allen. and their children: Jane (baptised 28 July 1787), Betty (baptised 11 October 1789), Fanny (baptised 22 January 1792), Rebecca (baptised 15 June 1794), Ann (baptised 8 January 1797), William (baptised 16 January 1803 and married Ann Hill in 1825), Job (baptised 24 March 1805) and Grace (baptised 10 November I also believe that Benjamin and Hannah Allen and James and Mary may also connected. I am the G-G-G grandson of William who was transported to Tasmania, Australia in 1842.
WINDO
I am reserching the WINDO family of westwood. they were all stone masons. my line decends from Richard Windo. i'd love to hear form anyone also reseraching this name.
red mail John Miner or relations
Any Miner (not occupation) folk that are in the Westwood district may be related to my John Miner supposedly born 1812-1815 Westwood Wiltshire. He married twice to women in Monkton Coombe. I'm guessing his father could be Isaac Miner but need proof. I would like anything to do with Miner - if I could be so bold. Thanks. Leanne
red mail John Kelson
I have a link from my Isle of Wight ancesters to a John Kelson. He was born around 1818 and died in 1845 on the IoW. He was a blacksmith and was married to Mary Scott. They had 2 children William b1840 in Bath and Fanny b1844 in Cowes IoW. I believe that John may have been from the Kelson family in the Wiltshire area. On searching IGI there are two John Kelsons christened in Westwood in 1819, one on 7.3.1819 son of John & Ann, the other on 25.7.1819 son of Richard and Ruth. I cannot find any record of the marriage of John and Mary so cannot identify John's father. Can anyone help please?
