MEAD, LOVE, Somerset and Wiltshire
I'm trying to trace the birth of Stephen MEAD. He married Jane LOVE in 1754 in Rowde, Wiltshire, as a sojourner, i.e. temporary resident. Jane was born in Rowde. Stephen died in 1794 in Charlton-Mackrell, Somerset. Stephen's son, also Stephen MEAD, married Lucy FLOWER from Dunkerton, Somerset, in Devizes in 1774. Twenty years later Stephen senior has returned to Somerset and died there. Any info relating to possible place of birth/baptism would be appreciated as I have so far drawn a blank. Thank you.
