Does anyone have any information on Thomas Potter,( widower) who married Louisa Coule (spinster) in Enford, Wiltshire in 1909. He had children when he married Louisa, and they then had 2 daughters, Evelyn Dorothy (1910) and Irene May (1915). I can find no further information on Evelyn or Irene. Louisa was my paternal great Aunt. Rose.

Does anyone have info on Annie Rudman (nee Waters) born in Shalbourne about 1873 (Mothers name Eliza, maiden name not known but born in Collingbourne Ducis about 1853).Annie married a Frank Rudman and they lived at Beavers or Bevans Yard in Pewsey early 1900's.

Seeking further information on Henry Goodman of Pewsey who married Catherine Hill(i)er of Manningford Abbots in 1741 at Marlborough. Their children included Maurice Hiller, James (who moved to Hampshire) and John - most christened at Easton Royal. Henry died in 1776 at which time his wife was still alive. Catherine's brother was Maurice Hiller who died in 1796 leaving his property in Wilcot and Oare to his nephew John Goodman who died in 1827.
DEACON of OARE
John Deacon was a prosperous yeoman farmer of Oare in the Vale of Pewsey. He died in 1711. His son Henry 1699 - 1757 went to London, made his fortune and returned to Oare to build a rather grand house. Does anyone know where I mind find a family tree for these Deacons ? They may be connected to mine from Portsmouth.

I am looking for the family of Ann Hurkett. I have David Simpson and Ann Hurkett`s wedding certificate. They were married on the 2nd November 1876 at West Meon, Hampshire. On their marrage certificate Ann`s father is John Hurkett. I can`t find her birth, her parents, or her siblings, I am also after information about david`s parents, George Simpson and Ann Spenser both born abt 1816 married 1839.

In 1861 the Barker family lived at 21 High Street Pewsey. William Barker (born Chipping Sodbury in 1808) had married Elizabeth Hailstone in 1832. Children born in Pewsey included Mary (1833) Sarah (1834) William Barker (1836) Henry Barker (1937) and grandson William Barker (1844). The Barkers were watch and clockmakers in the village up until at least 1901. Does anyone have further information please?

Searching for details on the King family of Pewsey. Have Charles King b.c.1817 in Pewsey who was the landlord of The Coopers Arms in 1881 - he was widowed by this point. He had sons George, Tom and Young King. Young King married Sarah Goddard in 1880 and they had children; Charles R Y b.1882, Dorothy Annie b. 1888 and Dora Fanny b.1889. Dora Fanny married Leslie Sample. Look forward to hearing from anyone with a link or info. I have information on the Goddard side to share.
