red mail Stagg Family, Milton, Lilbourne
Thank you every one for your help ..... just another problem we have encountered and would be grateful for some more assistance: We would just like to know John Stagg who married Ann Little in 1825, in the 1851 census it shows John's father as being William Stagg (born 1773). We have no other information on William apart from there are at least 2 sons William and John. Does anyone have any other information on William Snr, such as spouse name, children etc. . Many thanks x
red mail Stagg Family, Milton, Lilbourne
We have a Mary Ann Stagg married to James Stagg in or about 1853. Mary Ann is born in 1833 in Milton according to the census. There are at least 8 children, one of which is William Stagg born 1861, married to Louisa Amor in 1883. We know Mary Anne was claiming funds from the Pewsey Union Workshouse in 1884. Does any one know of a Mary Ann who married a James Stagg - we are looking for her maiden name and date and place of marriage. Also we cannot find this family in the 1861 census - does anyone one know where they are?
red mail Tarrant
Marianne or Mary Ann Tarrant b1816 married Maurice Hailstone in 1842. Maurice died in 1849. 3 children Sarah Jane b1843, George Henry b1847 & Amelia Ann b1849. Children brought up by Grandma Tarrant. Can't find Marianne on any census records or a death record, believe she did a runner. Does anyone know what happened to her?
I am looking for information on the family of Thomas and Sarah JAMES. Thomas was born in Bath, Somerset, Sarah in Pewsey and her maiden name was probably AMOR. Known children all born in Milton 1829-1844 were William, Mary, Emma, Jesse, Eliza, Thomas, there may be more. In 1841 Census Anne HIBBERD (born Pewsey, daughter of John & Eliza) lived with them and is probably Sarah's niece. Anne married John FLIPPENCE and emigrated, Emma JAMES went with them. I would like to hear from anyone associated with these families.
