I am researching my GGGG Grandparents Letitia Somerville and John Stevenson. They were both born in Ireland and emigrated to Kirkinner, Wigtown, Scotland. They married in 1815 in the same place. John's parents were John Stevenson and Margaret Smart. Their son James Stevenson b.6 December 1816 is my GGG Grandfather. His siblings were: Letitia b.1814 and Sarah b.1819. The name Stevenson also shows up spelt Stephenson. James married Margaret Patrick, daughter of Hugh Patrick and Mary Beggs on 8 June 1838 in Stair Parish Ayrshire. They moved to Australia, their youngest child being born at sea. Their daughter Margaret is my GG Grandmother. She married Willoughby Rawlings. Thanks, Lesa
