Michael SHEEHAN (b. 1858) married Mary GREGORY (b 1863) in abt 1887 (info from census). They were living in Rathdrum. They had 7 children: Mary, Anne, Dora, Michael, Joseph, Patrick, Elizabeth. I am looking for any information regarding their history as I have been unable to find their marriage certificate. Any help would be truly appreciated.

I am trying to trace my ancestors. My grandfather was Michael Byrne, of Arklow. He was a postman in the GPO Dublin. Born 1869, died before 1911. Married Christina Killigrew who was born 23.12.1870 and died 1912. My mother was born 26.5.1905 and died 31.12.1992. Is she related to James Byrne, Postman in Arklow who was born 1854, married to Bridget Farrel in 1885, his father Andrew Byrne, mother Winifred Murphy? Could James and Michael be brothers? I have absolutely no knowledge of Michael. Can anybody help me with my search. My mother was brought up in an orphanage, but I don't know where.

Dr William Heath married Sibella Fitzhenry in 1834. Part of the Heath family migrated to the US in the 1880s, the rest stayed in Arklow. One of the US Heath descendants is visiting Wicklow in October 2010 and would very much like to meet any Heath relatives who are still in the area.

My g.g.grandmother, Sarah Natty born Arklow c.1850. The surname never comes up in a search so I would appreciate any help. She married James Forrest c.1869, perhaps in Arklow or Dublin CofI but cannot find a record of this.

I am looking for any info on the Elliotts/Kennys from Arklow. William Elliott's son, William married Mary English (also from Arklow) in 1901. Any info on the Elliott family and Kenny family before this date would be gratefully received. I know William Snr died a few years after marrying Ellen Kenny but Ellen lived on until 1915.

Great Grandfather (Patrick Waters) mentioned in Primary Valuation of Tenement Sir Richard Griffiths (1865). His tenement was called Ticknock. My Grandfather (Patrick Waters) came with his father to England and settled in Dewsbury West Yorks around this time. Have done some research and there are quite a few Waters' in the Arklow area but this is when my search has gone cold. I would greatly appreciate any info regarding my family when they lived in Arklow around 1865. Family name is Waters

Great Grandfather mentioned in Primary Valuation of Tenement Sir Richard Griffiths. My Grandfather came with his father to England when he was about 12 years old, he worked on the Liverpool Manchester Railway. I believe he was a teaboy. Would appreciate any info regarding my family when they lived in Arklow around 1865. Family name is Waters

My Grandmother MARY MCDONALD (nee CLANCY) lived at No 7 Coomie Lane,ARKLOW recorded in the 1901 Census. My Grandfather, THOMAS MCDONALD, was a seaman and I have no record of his death or burial. One of his sons (my Uncle), PATRICK MCDONALD was also a seaman (born in 1892). Again I have no record of his whereabouts - I believe he may have survived serving during World War 2. Can anyone please help with any info regarding my Grandfather and Uncle?. Many thanks, Tom.
