1941 bomb - (Selside - Westmorland)
In 1941 John Edward Moorhouse, his wife Florence Louisa Moorhouse, their daughter Lucy Walder and her husband Frank Bernard Walder were all killed by a bomb. The address given was Cooper House, Selside. Any information about the address or, more importantly, the occupations of John Moorhouse and Frank Walder would be great.

I am researching my Great Great Grandmother who was born Jane Jackson in Temple Sowerby in 1836, gave birth to my Great Grandmother Hannah at Appleby in 1863. There is no record of Hannah's father. Jane then married Thomas Ewbanke of Stainmore and had two more children Ruth (Airey) and Matthew Dennison Ewbanke who lived at Brough. Can anybody add any information to this?

My great grandmother was Marian Stewardson Benson, born Sept 1855.
