My Great-Grandfather, John Bean, was a Carpenter and Joiner, and also Clerk of Works to Lord Leigh at Stoneleigh between about 1891 and 1905. John was born in 1853 in Winthorpe, Collingham, Nottinghamshire. Married Annie Burbury from Crewe Farm near Kenilworth, and they had 4 children in Stoneleigh. Have a good tree from there, but would love to go into more detail. Liz

Great Great Grandmother Susannah ROBINSON(nee PARKES) is the niece of Sir Henry PARKES. He was born 1815-16 at Stoneleigh Abbey, Warwickshire and I'm trying to find a link to Susannah's parents. Does anyone have any information relating to Sir Henry's siblings? He was the youngest of six children and his parents names were Thomas and Martha Parkes. Susannah Parkes was born around the year 1852 and emmigrated to Australia with her husband William ROBINSON in 1885.
