Looking for a map or other identifier of where Richard Shakespeare's (William the playwright's grandfather - one of my great-great-great-etc grandfather) lived in the Snitterfield area. Am traveling there this spring & would love to get a photograph of the area at least, as I'm sure the buildings are probably long gone. Thanks so much!
Can anyone help me with the Gibbs and Meades(Medes) families of Snitterfield and maybe surrounding areas)? I have George Gibbs (bc 1730) but can't find his parents/siblings etc. He married Sarah Meades (bc 1734) in 1755. Her parentage also unknown. Their son, also George, married Ann Wood in Snitterfield 1786.
