red mail Mr Harding, mayor of Leamington
I have a carte-de-visite size photo, maybe from 1875-1885, and the label is 'Mr. Harding, Mayor of Leamington". I found a census record of William F. Harding, who was a land owner and Justice of the peace and retired from the Royal Navy (1881 census). He had a son Arthur H Harding which is significant because the Wood family who own the album named one son 'Arthur Harding Wood'. I would be interested to hear about any mayor of Leamington called Mr. Harding, probably before 1886 when the Wood family departed for Australia.

I am looking for the family of one of my ancestors, Hannah Allen, who married William Fletcher on 10 July 1797 at Leamington Hastings, near Rugby. Hannah was born in Warwickshire in about 1761, had one son, John, and died in the Almshouses at Leamington Hastings in 1846. Seeking any possible birth record (or previous marriage?)
