Wilcox family, Haselor
Looking for any Wilcox family, especially around 1860-1900. Martha (b1867) married Frederick Winfield and they had a daughter Mary in 1893. I cannot find Martha and Frederick on the 1901 census but Mary was with my great-uncle William Robins in Kings Norton as his adopted daughter. Frederick appears with his mother Louisa. I do have some more work to do on BMDs but is there anyone who can help with family information please?
red mail Morris Family of Hoo Mill
A farming family, the Morris's moved to Haselor Lodge in the 1820s, finally settling at Hoo Mill, Haselor, in 1844. My 3 x great-grandfather Daniel Tomkins Morris (born 1805 in Brailes) operated the mill, followed by his son, and so on. Until recent years Hoo Mill was still occupied by one of Daniel's descendants. My 2 x great-grandfather, John Tomkins Morris, was born in Haselor in 1837. He helped run Upton Warren Mill, then managed Ipsley Mill before finally settling at Northfield Mill. Willing to share information about this family.
red mail Hutton of Haselor
Thomas Hutton married Sarah Field, By Banns, at St Marys Church Haselor 30th Dec 1788. The register said that both were from this parish, if this be so then Thomas Hutton was from Haselor and may well have been born there. He would have to be at least age 21 when he married by Banns, so I am looking for his birth/christening which would be around 1760 to 1767, Thomas and Sarah may also have lived at Aston Cantlow after marriage. I would welcome any assistance. Many Thanks.
