red mail White/Hardy/Stevens Family
Looking for information about William Henry Hardy, my grandfather, born in Queenborough, Kent, in 1870, who married Lorna Bessie White and lived in Brixton, London before moving to Fenny Compton after WW1. William served with the Anzacs during WW1, having moved to New Zealand before the war. Lorna remarried a Tom Stevens and lived in Fenny Compton until her death in 1980. Tom.
Jane White
Seeking info/relatives of Jane White b. 1842, mother of William Stanton White b. 1872.
Ann Neale born c.1790-1805
My great-great grandmother was Ann Neale who married Thomas Hirons, a widower, at Cubbington on 15 October 1821. I believe that she was born in Fenny Compton as she claims this in the Census return for 1851 when living in Bloxham, Oxfordshire, Thomas village of origin. Unfortunately the Banns for the church in Cubbington no longer exist so I have been unable to identify her age at the time of her marriage or her father's name. I believe that she had a sister, Mary, who married a Joseph Treen of Brinklow at Clifton-upon-Dunsmore, near Rugby, on 15 October 1827. Any information helping me to identify this Neal (or Neale) family in Fenny Compton would be appreciated.
