WILLIAM HENRY CORNOCK
William Henry Cornock was born in Coleshill in 1883; he was the son of William Cornock and his wife Sarah (nee Cox). The family moved into Birmingham not long afterwards. William Henry joined the army in 1903 (Royal Warwickshires) and served until 1915, latterly with the South Lancashires; from 1904 he was in India. I cannot find any record of what happened to him after his discharge. I have checked entries such as a marriage in Dudley in 1909 of 'William H Cornock' but this is not him; nor are the deaths recorded for men of the same forename initials in 1960 and 1962. I'd be grateful for any help here. Many thanks. Chris

Did anyone reading this lose a young, reddish-brown dog, possibly a rhodesian ridgeback x in July 1999?(quite big). If so this message is just to let you know he was re-homed and is still fit and well, and living on the east coast.
