I am charting the Rowell Family. Thomas and Valentine Rowell from Mancetter/Atherstone Warwickshire emmigrated to the US in about 1638. Would like some information about the family that remained. Thomas and Valentine were father and son. Thomas' father was also named Valentine. His wife was Elizabeth Hampton. They are buried in Atherstone. Any one have any info. John Rowley born c1814 in Atherstone married Elizabeth Thompson, they moved to Coventry by 1839. Their eldest child Henry Bates Rowley born 1840 is my husbands ancestor. John is linked to a Charles Rowley born 1822 in Atherstone, they are living together in 1841. (His brother?) Does anyone else have these Rowley's?

I am trying to find a lady whi became Ann Bedson, living in Cheshire, she married a Peter Bedson, she was born 1791. she was a publican, first house was Hare & Hounds Morpeth Dock Birkenhead, 2nd House was Fox & Hounds. She had 4 children, Peter,Catherine,Ann, Joseph. she also had a sister Mary Pearson, (I presume that that is her married name) I can find no trace of her marriage as I don't have a maiden name. Ann Bedson lived in Childer Thornton, Cheshire, I have her on 1851 census, I would be very grateful for any help at all.

im looking for my g/mother who is down on my mothers b/ cert as ethel mary morgan a bookkeeper at a bell hotel leicester. my mother was born in the mission of hope jan 1916 to ethel.i have found a possible ethel who was born in merevale warickshire approx 1885. the only other ethel i may be chaseing is one who was a doctor in weymouth in 1911.my g/father was a well known veterinary surgeon in queniborough leicestershire and had a practice in charles st leicester till ww1 1915 he went to war just in time to miss my mothers birth. does anyone have any info on the possible ethel's as my g/mother ? as i have had a brick wall for 5 yrs

I am trying to trace the Pullin family who lived in Mancetter and Atherstone. Thomas Pullin (1787-1860) married Mary Ann Power on 3 Aug 1815 in Mancetter. I believe his father was John Pullin, and his son, Thomas (1817-1891) married Eliza Windridge from Polesworth on 6 Nov 1846. Any info. would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

Am trying to find out anything about my ancestors, difficult to trace because of multiple divorces and early deaths down the generations! William Moss married Florence nee Hands and they lived in Atherstone, Warwickshire where they had three children, twins, William and Olive and Hilda. Willam senior was a builder and William junior, born around 1920, was a jazz musician who played with the Crazy Gang and served with Vera Lynn in ENSA.

My grandmother, Beatrice Ellen Court, was born in Atherstone in December 1911 and the address is Chestnut Cottages, Baddesley Ensor. Her fathers name was James Court and mothers name Mary (nee Unitt). I believe she was the only daughter and had several older brothers, one of whom was called Cecil. Unfortunately, that is all I know except that she married my Grandfather Frank Clarke and they moved to the Slough/Windsor area where they had four children. John and Ann MATTS appear in the 1841 and 1851 censuses for Atherstone - both born in Atherstone. Maria MATTS is in Nuneaton in 1851, now Maria PAYNE and born in Attleborough. She is not in the Atherstone MATTS family in 1841 or 1851 but could have been working away from home. Does anyone know this family?
