Joseph Beattie was my Grandfather.Joseph Married Anne Jane McBride of Milltown Ardstraw on 26th July 1870 at the Registrars Office Strabane. At that time Joseph was aged 27 and his residence listed as Newtownstewart. Anne was aged 22 and her residence, Milltown Ardstraw. On the 7th September 1877 Joseph and Anne, together with their thre young children, John 6, Elizabeth 3 and David 1,emigrated to Christchurch New Zealand sailing from the Clyde. Would much appreciate any information regarding relatives past and present of Joseph Beattie and Jane McBride. Ever hopefull, Randal.

Trying to trace Irvin(e) Galbraith, born approx 1806 in Newtownstewart (or thereabouts) in County Tyrone. Family lore has him married to a Mary Mallon Steward/Stewart (with other version of her name, including Margaret Milton/Miller). Irvin immigrated to Halton County in (then) Upper Canada in or around 1837. ANY information assisting with this search would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
