McGill and O'Hara
I am desperately seeking my Irish ancestors who I believe originated in a small village Drumreany near Coalisland Tyrone. When orphaned, my grandmother was brought up in this village with her grandparents John McGill and MaryAnn nee O'Hara. John was a labourer in the coal mines born 1836 and MaryAnn in 1838. They had two sons who emigrated to Durham England in the 1880s: James born 1864 and Patrick born 1866, other children include:Catherine, Mary and Owen McGill. Catherine married James Martin from Derry in 1896.

red mail Mitchell/Toft
Looking for the ancestors of William Mitchell born 1793 in Coalisland, Tyrone, Ireland. William married Elizabeth Toft in Campbelltown NSW in Australia in 1824. William (convict) was transported to Australia in 1818 on the "Martha".
Hughes in Coalisland
Francis Hughes m Mary McAliskey, son James born 10th Sep 1886. Francis & Mary gave address on birth cert of James as Annaghmore, Coalisland. According to family memory, the Hughes family were shopkeepers and seedsmen in Coalisland and I can find plenty in Piggotts to confirm this but there are several Hughes' lines. James went on to marry Mary McArthur in Port Glasgow, 1912, parents both deceased by that time (according to marriage certificate) . I have a Francis Hughes born 08.08.1866, Coalisland but cannot find census or marriage records for him to corroborate. Think I've hit my brick wall.
