Alex. was a 'pensioner' of the 93 Sutherland Highland Regiment. I think he was wounded in the Cape in 1806. His wife is listed as Elizabeth McIntosh and I think they married in Inverness. red mail William McCulloch and Ann Simpson
I'm trying to find information on William McCulloch and Ann Simpson, who married in Golspie in 1789. They seem to have moved first to Urray in Ross where daughter Mary was born, then to Linlithgow Bridge in Stirlingshire where William became an Innkeeper and various other children were born. Mary McCulloch in turn married William Fisher in 1812 in Edinburgh, and she later became proprietor of the Inn before it passed to her daughter Ann and son-in-law Robert Stewart.

Alexander Campbell was my Gt. Grandfather, he was accidently killed by his own Shotgun in 1898. I would be interestedto hear from someone who has read or heard of my Gt. Grandfather's Death
