Wadhurst, Sussex
In a DVD entitled "Hasting to Charing Cross - 1066" dated 1988, the narrator, Peter Egan refers to an aquaduct over the railway line south of Wadhurst Station but north of Wadhurst Tunnel. It appears to be of steel construction, about 4 feet wide and 3 feet deep. Does anybody know if it still exists or what was the water it carried was used for? Maps of the area don't give a clue.
