red mail JAMES FAMILY
Am looking for the JAMES tree in Surrey/S.LondonI area. I knew both Alice Rex JAMES and her son whom we called Uncle Frank. Mr JAMES was a piano tuner. I visited them in Sutton in the 1940s.. Not sure of my exact family connection but I have photos of Uncle Frank, a very handsome, kind & jolly chap. Mostly I met him at Tadworth at my grandfather's house. He was the village grocer, Stephen ANDREWS, 1 Cross Road, Tadworth. I do have a photograph of Uncle Frank's wedding with lots of guests. Any related information regarding the JAMEs would be appreciated. Dave

red mail KNIGHT & HERSEY Family
I'm trying to find members of my family born to Doris Knight and Frederick Hersey in 1940-1944. Fred was born Frederick Knight and became a Hersey after his mother Edith Ellen married Nelson Hersey. Doris and Fred had 3 boys, Colin, Robin and Brian before separating during WW2. Fred later married again and I am his granddaughter. If anyone has any info on the Knight or Hersey family from this period I would love to hear from you as trying to trace the whole family tree and there were an awful lot of Knights and Hersey's!!!
