Looking for parents of Mary Ann COLLINS (COLLINGS) born 1816 in Brightling, Sussex, England and died in May 1842. Her daughter, Mary Ann Croft COLLINS, born 1842 in Brightling married John BULL in Hastings, Sussex on 28 Nov 1867. 1841 British Census lists Mary Ann COLLINGS, age 25, living in Brightling, Sussex with Michael ATKINS, age 64, born in Sussex. I'm researching the Lovell family of Brightling, Penhurst,Battle up to 1800 George Lovell 1750-1845 married Elizabeth Weston in 1778 in Hollington (Hastings). They moved to Ore, Battle then Brightling. He is buried at Brightling alongside his brother Jonathan 1757-1827. The 1841 census shows that George was NOT born in Sussex - does anyone know where he & his brother came from?

Searching for information on Anne Fuller born c. 1699, Brightling area or Waldron. She migrated to Jamaicam W.I.and had a son James(Vernon)there in 1721. Her family may have been related to Maj. John Fuller or his son John Fuller (born 1680,Waldron) or she may have been a cousin of the Rose-Fullers of Brightling Park, who owned large sugar cane plantations in Jamaica during the 18th century.

I am searching for information on a George Atkins family of Brightling. George Atkins was born 1777 in Dallington and died in 1863 at the Battle Workhouse. He is buried at St. Thomas a Becket in Brightling. He had 3 known children: John Atkins 1810-1906, Louisa Atkins B, M,D, unknown to me, and Thomas Atkins born 1815, died in 1895 in the U.S. Any help would be greatly appreciated on ascertaining who George Atkins parents were, and who his wife was. (I do know his wife died before 1841) Thank you !
