red mail Ardingly House
My mother also visited a big house in Ardingly. It was situated behind the Ardingly show ground. The owners of the house were the Killick family. This would have been around 1930. It may not be the same house. My mother said tha there was maids and servants. There is a public foot path beside the showground which you walked down and could reach the big house. I don't know if the house exsists today.
