I am looking for information on JOHN PEPPER and his son THOMAS CUNNINGHAM form Amberley. John Pepper is the Great Uncle of my Grand Father RICHARD HENRY PEPPER who lived in BATTLE East Sussex. I understand that John Pepper was a ship owner at Littlehampton before starting a Lime/Cement manufactures in Amberley.

I am searching for a Pamela Langley Smith (nee Lee) b. 1923 Westhampnett, whose mother was Olive Lee (nee Short) and father Harold Lee. Pamela married a Harry Hague Smith. I dont know what happened to her or if she is still alive. I would love to hear from anyone who is researching this family tree. The family also lived in Yapton, Thakenham and Eastbourne areas. Richard EDE of Lyminster, Sussex, married Elizabeth CARTER of Amberley at Amberley in 1735. Both were buried there. Their son, also Richard, crossed the river to Bury where he was a blacksmith.

Anybody with any more info on Agnes please get in touch. Her father was Ambrose PESCOTT, mother was Jane. She was born in Amberley 1848/9. Agnes married in 1869 to James LELLIOTT. James LELLIOTT seems to have married a second Agnes PESCOTT in 1900whose father was William PESCOTT, she was born in London S.Lambeth 1879. Were these two Agnes's related??
