red mail GAULD, Celia, September 1948- unknown.
Was looking to trace down anything about the above lady. She was the daughter to Stanley John Gauld (27 December 1909- mid January 1997) and Sylvia A Ford who were located in Sutton, which was then Surrey (it's now London, since the London Government Act). She was still located in Sutton, and does not seem to have married in 1970 given that she appears again as GAULD, Celia, on the electoral roll 1970 and there doesn't seem to be anybody with whom she is cohabiting at the time in question. There was a Celia D Gauld who married a Stewart H S Hirshen in Sussex, however this was not the Celia in this particular post. That Celia D Gauld is a completely separate lady. Other than the 1970 electoral roll placing her in Sutton, there seems to be absolutely nothing else on her. Don't even know when she died. It's likely however that she was dead prior to Stanley as there's nothing in the wills and probate upon his death in 1997, which actually is sad. Stanley John Gauld was the son to George and Lavinia. He had a brother Leslie who died 18th November 1954. Leslie though not Stanley is recorded in George's wills and probate when he died 27 April 1937 and again only Leslie though not Stanley is mentioned in Lavinia's last will and testament when she died 8th May 1947 as her sole beneficiary which hints that there may have been a split in relations. Leslie only bequeathed money to CURTIN, Mary, and their children Georgina and Robert. Again Stanley and now Celia are not mentioned at all. Don't know what happened to Celia as, as was previously stated, the record goes cold once the 1970 electoral roll has been located. The residential location remained a Burleigh Road address in Sutton, Surrey/London, quite some time already. Any help tracking down information on Celia, or any potential sons and daughters (she may have emigrated, which causes the sudden disappearance on the British records) would rather obviously be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much, people.
