I currently seeking any family links to a William G ADAMS - (1893 - 1954) who married Annie Elsie WELFARE - 10th Aug 1912 in Horley, Surrey. They had 3 children - Unknown, William G ADAMS (1913), James H ADAMS (1915). Annie Elsie ADAMS (WELFARE) had a 2nd marriage to a George GRIST brn Woking (1893 - 1954) on 13th Dec 1954 in Reigate after the passing of her first husband William G ADAMS. WELFARE WARREN FAMILY MEMBERS HORLEY
I am seeking/researching any family members related to Emily Welfare (nee Warren) (dob.1865) married Jack Welfare dob 1864 - census 1901 shows they had 11 children. Two of their children - Jack - (dob 1900) married a Nellie (dob 1906) and Queenie (dob 1910) married a George Frederick (dob 1910). Nellie and George were brother/sister. Does anyone remember my Gt. grandmother Dorothy Florence (unsure of her surname may have been Jones), she used to work for Mr. Whittaker on the farm and she lived at a House owned by Mrs. Annie Soper/Sopper in 1942. She rented a room from Mrs. Soper and lived there with her young son, She also had 3 other children: Elsie Mary Jones b.1917, Doris Edna Jones b.1920 and William Alfred Jones b.1922 (my grandad). I seek information on my Great Grandfather George SCOTT bn Horley, Surrey in 1874. He was a House painter who married Edith CORNFORD of Sussex in 1897.... they had the following children. George - Wilfred - John Edward (My father)- Reginald. The 1901 census shows them living at Queens Rd Horley, they were still there when my father John Edward was born in 1902. In 1919 my father joined the army and is shown as living at Nth Woolwich with his parents.
