ETHERINGTON Family - Haslemere
With the help of the wonderful people on here, I've been able to trace my great-great-grandmother back to Wales. I am now seeking help on my grandfather's family - Hori Allen Etherington born 1893 in Haslemere, died 1938 in Midhurst, parents were (I think) Frederick & Mary Sophia. Thanks so much!

Still hoping to find out if a John christened about 1805. Also was this son married somewhere around 1825 - to whom? This might eliminate this possibility for 'my' John who migrated to NZ in 1841 being the son of Richard PHILPS and Sarah WILLIAMS. Thanks for any help you can give. This branch of the family has been a long -term dead end.

Looking for the christenings of children to Richard PHILPS and Sarah WILLIAMS post 1790. I'm hoping that there was a John born c. 1803-7. May also have been a William. Were there other siblings, when? Also looking for any more information about Robert PHILPS (father of Richard) who was chr. 1705 and was probably buried 25 July 1769. His widow, Elizabeth LEE was born in H. c 1720 (any record of this christening, family, siblings, parents...) and was buried 30 Sept, 1808. Any help excitedly received.

Any details of their parents??? names/dates... or their children (esp. interested in Richard who married Sarah Williams).I'm guessing SW was from London because they were married at Spitalfields on 24/5/1795

Looking for information on the Masters family who lived in the Haslemere area. Edwin Masters born about 1832 in Leeds Yorkshire. His occupation was a leather dresser. On the 1881 census he lived with his family in East Street, then in 1891 they were at Courts Hall. He died in 1901 in Hambledon. His wife was Eleanor and the children were Francis, Eleanor, Jessie, Edwin, Alfred (my grandfather) and Albert who were all born in the St Pancras area of London

I am looking for any information on an Eliza Wild 1885 who was born Haslemere, Surrey, or Fernhurst, can find no record of her birth as yet. Her marriage was in Midhurst 1910 to Albert J Ford born 1880 Bramdean West Meon. The first child of this marriage was born in Fernhurst which says Sussex on Elizas husbands army discharge papers. So there maybe a link.

I am trying to trace my White family and having no luck!. My gg grandfather was William White a paper merchant born 1855 in Haslemere, Surrey. His father was John, also from Haslemere. William married Martha who came from Hull. They had 7 children: John, Violetta, Ethel, Gertrude, Arthur, Martha and Harold (my g grandfather). Looking for information on Percy Frank Stacey c 20.02.1881 son of Alfred Stacey and Mary Ann Berry. Percy Frank married 31.8.1904 Mary Pilgrim in Haslemere. Mary's father was Edward Pilgrim. Percy Frank and Mary had the following children: Edward Frank c 24.9.1905 Fernhurst; Millicent Emma b 30.12.1906 Fernhurst; Sylvie Doris c 10.4.1910 Fernhurst, it is possible they had more children. Any information would be appreciated as i have lost this family from 1910 onwards.

(Parents Stephen and Elizabeth (nee Dawes) Berry) married Mercy Berry born 1863 (Parents Moses Berry and Ann Smithers) In the 1881 census they are listed as living in Surrey but after that i cannot find any trace.
