red mail Langley Farm?
Was under the impression that it was a Lancelot HOLLAND who took his large family to Langley Farm, Beckenham. He was born 1781, married Charlotte Mary PETERS; and died 1859. He was a son of Henry Holland and Bridget Brown.
Cornelius Holland
Cornelius(d.1780) is brother to Henry Holland the Builder, who moved to Langley Farm, Beckenham when their family grew too large for the London House, and who was the father of Henry Holland the Architect who married Bridget Brown, daughter of Capability Brown. That is the Beckenham connection but they are not connected to my Beckenham Hollands as far as we can see at the moment. I have a simple incomplete tree back to Cornelius the regicide sent to me by a friend who has connections to this family through a son of Henry the Builder. The brother of Henry and Cornelius was William b 1709 and he had a son Cornelius as well.
red mail Cornelius HOLLAND
The Cornelius Holland whose will was proved 1780, is a member of the Barnes, Surrey family. He was unmarried. I've been unable to find any links between the Barnes family and any in Beckenham in Kent. Further back still in the family was the notorious Cornelius Holland , the Regicide, who fled England when Charles 2 returned.
Cornelius Holland

The Will only mentions his sister Mary b 1721 d 1799. The Willref. is PROB 11/1070. Father William b 1688 was the son of Cornelius b 1662 d 1733 of Putney, Cordwainer, his Will is Prob 11/659. I have Hollands in Beckenham, Kent.
