Hi. I'm keen to learn more about the Elmer family of Woolpit, who were related (not yet sure how) to my branch of the Elmer family who lived (variously) in Elmswell and before that in Great Ashielf; Badwell Ash; and Walsham-le-Willows among other villages going back into the 1600's.

William Tricker was my great grandfather, a gamekeeper in Woolpit where he lived with my great grandmother, Rosa and my gran. In 1908,he committed suicide. My Great Great Grandfather, Robert Goymer lived and worked in Woolpit, and was a foreman brick-maker (circa 1857). He was married to Sarah (whose maiden name was Middleditch). Their daughter was Rosa who, married William Tricker. If anyone has any information they can share with me, I'd be very grateful.

Mary Emma Thomas nee I hope Girdlestone was born in Woolpit in about 1835, went to London and married Thomas Thomas. Can anyone help please? Their daughter married Henry Patmore my great grandfather. Her aunt was a Mary Girdlestone born in Norfolk and was the nurse to the Duchess of Tecks children.
