i WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THERE ARE ANY OF THE LINCOLN FAMILY OF PAKEFIELD STILL LIVING IN THAT AREA. AS MY GreatGrandmother was a Sarah Lincoln born 1856 in Pakefied I believe they were all Fisherman as were their Relatives from Valerie Davies.

my husbands ancestors,James Robbens b1796 norfolk,married Ann b 1792 in Great Dunham, son William b1829, married Elizabeth Dawson b1839 on the 17/3/1854 england, son James b.1860 suffolk married Louisa Maria Mayes b 1867,on the 19/8/1883 son Frederick Charles b.17/5/1891.i would appreciate any information on any of these people. Robbens can be spelt many ways I have found Robens Robins Robbins etc.

I would be very interested if anyone has any information about the Gray family in Pakefield. My husbands family comes from here. We have found William Gray born 1837/9 in Pakefield he married a Maria unknown and they had abt. 4 children Florence Edith, Minnie May (Mary), Sarah Maria, and William b. abt. 1869 who is our g.grandfather he Married Jane Marr b. 1872 in Scotland (father Robert Marr) they had abt. 5 child, Alexander J. Alice J. George, Robert D. and William James b 1893. this is my Husbands Grandfather at sometime they must have moved to Lowestoft as he was born there. Williamd James we think was a mariner as he eventually set his roots down in Litherland Merseyside, so if anyone has anymore information about any of these families I would really be appreciative. My GG Grandfather was Emmanuel Stone born 1828 in Oulton and he married Mary Ann Aldred from Mutford. They had 7 children, my G Grandmother Emma Stone 1852, Charles c1855, Arthur c1856, Elisabeth c1859, James c1862, Mary Ann c1863 and Stephen 1869. They lived in Pakefield and I would love to make contact with any distant relatives. Emma moved to West Sussex where she married my G Grandfather Nelson Newman.

My great-grandfather, Raymond Broughton (b.1842) moved to Pakefield from Beccles around 1900. His children married into those of the Knights family who were the offspring of William Goldspink. Would love to give and receive info on these families.

William Knights was born on 30 Jan 1812 in Gisleham. He died in Nov 1876 in Lowestoft and was buried on 16 Nov 1876 in St Margarets, Lowestoft. He married Hannah Blowers on 22 Sep 1834 in Pakefield All Saints, Pakefield. William was baptized on 2 Feb 1812 in St Edmunds, Kessingland. They had the following children: Anna 1841; Charles 1837; James 1847; Elizabeth 1849. Hannah Blowers was born on 2 Dec 1812 in Wrentham, Suffolk, England.
