red mail Plowman Young M.D. in Norton
Just found out my ancestor is Plowman Young lived in Norton and perhaps Bury St. Edmunds. Plowman that is his first name was a M.D. or doctor and he even lived in Italy 1837-1840 and died in Italy. Any information on this family would be very helpful.
red mail Daniel Stiff
Daniel Stiff was buried 23/1/1813 in Norton aged 104. Do you have this name in your family tree?
red mail TALBOT
Would be delighted to hear from anyone researching the TALBOT family from Norton. Originally from the village of Wattisfield, an ELIZA TALBOT (b 1821) settled in Norton. She was quite a colourful figure, having a number of children , both within and outside marriage! I think she married JOSEPH GOULD / GOOLD. In total, she had at least 9 children between 1837 - 1863. Eliza herself died, I think between 1881 - 1891 - possibly back in Norton but some of her GOULD family were by that time living up in Shipley, Yorkshire.

Florence Boggis the daughter of John and Anna Boggis, (late Barrett. formerly Bloomfields) born on the 25 January 1882 in Norton. Did she become Florence Hutchins, formerly Boggis? She died on 22 February 1945 in Hounslow Middlesex aged 63 years. She was married to Arthur Edmund Hutchins, and I am trying to find out when & where this marriage took place.
