red mail Wales Family of Mildenhall, Suffolk
Seeking information about John and Elizabeth Wales. They had 3 daughters - Anne (m. William Doughty in Mildenhall in 1808), Harriett (m. Charles Sparhawke in 1810 and then Mark Last in 1825), and Mary (m. John Creighton of Morpeth in 1812). red mail Charles Secker
I am looking for information about my Great Great Grandfather, Charles Secker, who was born in Mildenhall, Suffolk, about 1820. I believe he married Sarah (surname not known) in 1850. The marriage was registered in the Oct,Nov,Dec Quarter in Camberwell District, London Surrey. They were living at 133 Weston Street, Bermondsey, London, England at the time of the 1881 Census with five children: Albert George Secker, Edward Secker, who was my Grandfather (Census transcript indicates Edward S., but I believe the S is an error), Emily Secker, Henry Charles Secker and Sarah Jane Secker. Any information about any member(s) of the family would be welcome.

red mail William Cornwell/Hannah Lynn
I'm trying to find information about William Cornwell born about 1845, Milden Hall, Suffolk. (I believe his father was also called William). He moved to the North East to work in the Durham coalfields and married Hannah Lynn in 1864. (Her father was called William Lynn). Their offspring:- William(1869), George(1871), Thomas(1874), John(1877), Susannah(1879), Mary Lynn(1880). They were all born in Portobello, Birtley, Co. Durham. Any information would be appreciated.
red mail Leonards of Mildenhall/Barton Mills
My great grandad Frederick married Charlotte Duff in 1847. Their daughter Emma was born in 1873 in Wisbech and they later moved to Rotherhithe. Frederick's father was Simon Leonard, a bricklayer, perhaps originally from Mildenhall/Barton Mills Suffolk( to be proven!) and if so his mother was Ann Kimmons. Ann died in 1826, six years after marriage and leaving two small sons at least-Frederick and Isaac Leonard. Frederikc and Isac were christened in Barton Mills. Simon and Ann married in 1820. Simon had at least two brothers, frederick and Isaac! Charlotte Duff was the youngest daughter of James Duff born circa 1873-where I don't know as he died in 1850 before places of birth were mentioned on the census-would love to know! Charlotte's mother was Jane Cooper born 1787 in Wisbech. I would love to hear from anyone who thinks they might be linked. James and his family seem to have been the first Duffs in Wisbech. A Sarah Duff aged 77 died there in 1830 and also a William Duff aged 44 in 1833-doubtless relations. I have found several Duffs in Lincolnshire census entries but nothing to link up. James was a gardener. Frederick Leonard was a railway platelayer and claimed to have been born in Holborn! STill investigating-any help appreciated!
