Hoo Farm
Anyone have any ideas where Hoo Farm is/was? Its listed as my ancestors dwelling in the 1881 census, but I can't find it on any map and I've looked at some very old ones. Its listed after Newbells farm and Wassicks Farm in Haughley Green ( I grew up there - hence the intrigue - were those fields I trampled as a child the same fields as my forefathers?) If anyone has any ideas, I'd love to hear them.
Emily Maria Restell
born in Haughley in 1861. Mother Eliza Elizabeth Restell, nee Fisher. Father William Worledge Restell. The family appear to have lived in London/Middlesex so I would like to know the connection with Haughley.
