I am searching for any information on the family of George (born 1847 Co Mayo Ireland-Apr 1918) and Elizabeth (born 1854 Leominster, Herefordshire) Quinn. They were living at 31 Market Square, Tunstall in 1881 and on Paradise St in 1891. George was a grocer/baker.Known children (all born in Tunstall, Wolstanton) were Elizabeth, George, James P, John,Mary, and Thomas. Our family is descended from John (emigrated to US in 1906). Any information on any of these individuals would be greatly appreciated.

This marriage is reflected in the Staffordshire free bdm index which shows Ellis Woods married Anne Lymer, Burslem St John, Stoke on Trent register office, reference 3/07/218. The 1871 British Census shows Ellis Woods, 7 years old, scholar, born Staffordshire, Tunstall, residing with his father Ellis, aged 36 years and his mother Elizabeth aged 38 years, and sister Elizabeth aged 9 months. All were residing at 39 Hall St, Tunstall. The 1881 British Census shows that living at 74 Rathbone St, Wolstanton, Stafford, England was Elizabeth Woods, widow, 48 years of age, born (about 1833) Ubey,Cheshire,England. Living with her was her son Ellis Woods, an apprentice tinsmith by occupation, 17 years of age (born about 1864) born Tunstall, Stafford, England. Also living with her was her daughter Eliza Elizabeth Woods, 10 years of age (born about 1871) Tunstall,Stafford,England. Ellis Woods mentioned in the 1881 census was born/christened 17th April, 1864, Tunstall, Stafford, England, Father Ellis Woods and Elizabeth. (The 1901 census shows Ellis Woods, 37 years of age, born Marbury, Cheshire, census done Civil Parish of 69 Peel Street, Monks Coppenhall, Occupation Engine Tuber - However this Ellis is believed to be Ellis Woods, son of William Woods baptised 22 May 1827) Seeking contact with persons interested in similar family history

William Hughes 1854, George Hughes 1856.In the 1881 census had William living in Featherstone, Yorkshire. George Hughes living in Normanton, Yorkshire.
Goerge Jinks born Tunstall about 1910-15 father Moses Jinks 1885-1916 killed in war at the time of his father's death Goerge lived with his stepmother Minnie Morgan my ggmother Alice took him in until she died 1940 he wanted to stay with my gparants but they lived in rooms over the gas office my gdad was the gaslamp lighter for tunstall but they were being rehouse to a three bed in Sandyford and had five childern at home so had no room is any of this know to anyone as at this point goerge went missing thought to have join the army my gperants tryed to trace him but not heard of since my mother would like to know what happened to him any help pleases
