red mail Tividale Tram Works
My grandfather was carpenter at the Tividale Works of Birmingham & Midland Tramways, some time before 1918. The works closed in 1930, 9 years before the tram service from Birmingham to Dudley was abandoned, but in the fifties the connecting tracks could still be seen in the asphalt of Dudley Road West. The site is nowadays occupied by a housing estate. Although photos of Tividale-built trams are quite common, and the real thing can be admired at the Black Country Museum, I have been unable to find any photos of the works itself. Can anybody help?
red mail Upper Chapel St Tividale
My grandfather Leonard Hyde lived in Upper Chapel St, Tividale. He was born there in 1924 to Alice (nee Round) & Thomas Hyde, he had a sister Ivy, brother Cliff and his Aunt Maude & her family and his granny all lived in this street. Leonard attended Tividale School. If you remember him or any of his family please contact me so I can find out more about his childhood. Thank you.

Sheldon Brickworks
Trying to find info on Sheldon Brickworks, the bricks from their yard were used to build Tividale Comprehensive School in 1958. Believe my paternal grandparents had some connection. Any help will be appreciated.
I'm looking for information regarding the Westwood family, who set up a coal business in Tipton, Dudley around the 1860s. The business' name was Thomas Westwood and Sons. Also if anyone has any information regarding Esther Bates who married Simon Westwood in the early 1900s I would be very grateful.
