red mail DEAN Thomas, HALLEY (poss. HULLEY) m.1829 Shelton, Hanley
Thomas Dean married Frances Halley (poss. Hulley) in 1829. They had the following children: 1832 John, 1832 Martha, 1833 Mary Anne, 1834 Ann Isabella, 1837 Elizabeth, 1839 Emma, and, 1842 Thomas. Thomas and Frances married in 1829. Their occupations are consistent with those shown in the 1841 census being a pottery gilder and a pottery painter respectively. Thomas (1842) and Elizabeth appear in the 1851 census as boarders in Hanley. I do not know anything about the family that were looking after Thomas and Elizabeth, nor the whereabouts of the other children or Thomas and Frances. I cannot trace Frances before her marriage to Thomas although I believe she was local to Shelton. Any information will be appreciated.
