red mail Babb - Fennehouse (and variations)
As a result of Harriet Ferneyhouse (1855) marrying the brother (William Henry Babb) of my G.G.Grandfather (Thomas Edward Babb) I have had a "joyous" time trying to track this distinctive surname - only to discover multiple spellings within three generations: Fenehouse, Fennehouse, Finyhouse, Fannyhouse, Fishyhouse, Featherhouse, Finehouse, Fynehouse, Fanchouse, Fankvase... to name but a few, off the top of my head! I would be interested to hear of any links to this family. Thank you in anticipation. David
