red mail Weaver
My mother in Law Edith Wareham(nee Ruddick) passed away recently at the age of 102. She was born in Radstock, Somerset. In her possessions we found a Book of Common Prayer printed in 1719. On the frontispeice the re are inscriptions " John Weaver his book 1723" and "Hannah Weaver, Wellow, Jan 2nd 1780" Any information on the Weavers would be appreciated
red mail Britton
I am looking for any Britton links to Wellow. I have a Joseph Britton in our tree born c1779 who married a Unity Davis in Butleigh, 19/04/1807. Unity was born in Butleigh, but Joseph was not. There was a Joseph Britton baptised in Wellow 19/10/1779 son of James Britten & Ann Smith who could be my Joseph. I would be pleased to hear from anyone who has Brittons from Wellow in their tree.
