red mail Hyman family Mells 1830 - 1850
Hi, William Hyman baptised 24 Jan 1829. The '51 census finds William in Frome workhouse with his mother, Mary Hyman - an unmarried pauper washer woman. However, there is a suggestion of a marriage between John Hyman and Mary Young - Marriage: 15 SEP 1825 Saint James, Trowbridge, Wiltshire. Unfortunately the '41 census for Mells is 'missing' from the PRO. Ring a bell with anyone?
