I have found John Wool living in Long Sutton with his grandparents 1861 census aged 15 as a boarder. I am unable to locate him in 1851 census. Can anyone suggest where I look for him? I am trying to find out who his parents were.
Need help with the following LAVER families. Edward Arundel Hanne Laver 1819, wife is Amelia BARNARD 1824-1901. HE was born in Long Sutton but died in Somerton. His parents were Elias LAVER 1786 and Mary HAnne 1795; both born in Long Sutton. Parents of Elias are--John LAVER 1765 and Mary 1765..both both, married and died in Long Sutton. Has anyone heard of these families? Can you help me with children and ANCESTRY? I heard the Hanne line hooks to the Arundel family that built the castle...anyone know anything about that? The Arundel name is passed down three generations in the childrens middle names.

In the 1851 census William and Ann Palmer gave their address as 'Front Houses' Long Sutton. In the 1841 and 1861 census' the address is just Long Sutton. When daughter Hannah was born in 1849 they were living in Back street Long Sutton. Does anyone know if these addresses still exist?
