red mail Bus driver accident victim
I am searching for the death of John Smith, recorded in 1901 census as a Bus Driver in the Civil Parish of Clevedon. I have found a death in Jul-Aug-Sep qtr of 1903 of a John Smith aged 40 in the Long Ashton district however have no way of finding out if it is the person I'm looking for. According to family members this John Smith met with some kind of accident which caused his death. He was married to Jane Squires and had a number of small children which were placed in an orphanage or institution after his death. Would there possibly be a newspaper entry of death or record of the accident which might confirm his death. He was born abt 1866 in Weston-Super-Mare. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
