Samuel Cox
Samuel Cox took part in the Monmouth Rebellion of 1685: he was subsequently tried at Wells and executed at Ilchester. Does anyone know if the Samuel Cox (aka Rug) (1671-1757) who is buried in Limington churchyard was any connection?

I would appreciate any information I can get about my gr gr grandfather Richard Arnold born abt.1745 in Ilchester. His son was George Arnold born 1770 in Ilchester and he immigrated to the US and died in Ohio in 1844. I am missing the link of both of their wives and also any ancestors before Richard. Your help would be ever so appreciated.

In search of any info on William Hacker, born October 1604 or family. Immgrated to US, resided in Lynn, Massachusetts, died there 1661. Possible father is Robert Hacker b 1571, also of Ilchester and mother Thomasine Arnold b 1571 of Northover, Robert and Thomasine married 05 Oct 1595 in Ilchester.

My g.g/mother Ellen Fudge b. 1840 lived in Ilchester Somerset. Her mother was Jemima nee Carter. Ellen had sisters Elizabeth and Grace and brother Charles. Ellen's first born was Louisa 1861. No father on b.cert. Grace Augusta b.1866 father James Goff but cannot find any trace of marriage. Jemima died in Free St. Ellen lived in The Barton after James's death in 1890. She then moved to Ystradyfodwg Wales.

IRELAND Family
George IRELAND married 20th May 1802 at Ilchester to Ann WHITTLE. I have details of a number of children born to them, among whom was my great great grandfather, Robert IRELAND, bapt. 22nd Oct. 1803. Robert moved northwards to Butleigh, where in 1826 he married Marianne MOGG of Street. See my entry for IRELAND of Butleigh and Street. KJI

Anyone have any info on Jemima or Ellen Fudge from Ilchester Somerset. Ellen was born about 1842/44 and married James Goff. My g/mother's b.cert had her name has Nudge but I think it was Fudge!! They lived in Church St in 1881. Her mother Jemima Fudge lived at The Barton.

James died and family moved to Rhondda in Wales. Can't find entry for either birth or marriage for James or Ellen.
