William Brooks, who is a distant ancestor, was born somewhere in Somerset around 1755. It may have been Paulton, as he was described as a bachelor from Paulton when he married. Ann Sims, who was born in Paulton in about 1788, lived on until 1855. I am trying to find details of the births and parents of both William and Ann. Any assistance would be very welcome.
