red mail WEBBER, TUDBALL and FROST families, 17th/18th century and earlier
I've traced one of my ancestral lines back to William FROST and Ursula WEBBER, who married 22 Apr 1704, Exford, Somerset. Ursula was bap 9 Nov 1678, Exford, Somerset, daughter of William WEBBER and Elizabeth TUDBALL, who married 5 Nov 1668, Exford, Somerset. I think William WEBBER was probably bap 9 May 1641, Exford, Somerset, son of William and Margaret WEBBER, while Elizabeth TUDBALL was very probably bap Oct 1647, Exford, Somerset, daughter of John and Joan TUDBALL. If you have any links to the above, I will be very happy to share info. I am especially looking for any clues to William FROST's parentage - I assume he was born sometime circa 1680.

Shopland Family
From the 1800s the SHOPLAND surname has appeared in this village, although the first recording was about 1609 in Somerset. It is thought the some Shoplands moved out of Devon into Somerset during the 1600s and it is this subject which is being investigated. Any item about any Shoplands from any period would be appreciated
