Keeler Family, Sligo
I have recently found out that my GGF James Keeler was born in Sligo, in 1835. Also his brother John Keeler born in 1844 and Edward Keeler in 1848. All moved to and married in the South London area and were all nurserymen and Florists. On each of their wedding certificates their father is called John Keeler and listed as being a farmer. I am not sure if their father remained in Ireland, but would like to know if there were many Keeler families in Sligo in the 1830s to 1850s period. I know there were large migrations in this period due to the potato famine, which may explain the sons leaving their homeland.

I am trying to find where my ancestors came from in Ireland . William Mahoney (b.1832 or 1833) married Catherine White (b. 1835). red mail Monaghan Family
I am seeking info on my g.grandfather Edward Monaghan, I have a copy of his marriage record which tells me he was married to Matilda (nee McQuade) on 16th July 1875 at St Johns Catholic Church on Darnley Rd in Govan Glasgow. Govan is where the rest of my family lived until my mother and father left for England in 1952. Edwards Father was John Monaghan a Farmer, his mother was Mary (nee Shields). Edward and his parents were born in Ireland, no other info is given. Some research I did 5 years ago told me Edward and his parent were from Sligo but this may be wrong. Any help with nailing down some more facts will be very much appreciated. Thank you.

red mail Henderson, John (the Elder) & John Junior (Son)
Looking for the Irish roots for Henderson, John (the Elder) & John Junior (Son) - they settled in Upper Canada in Chinguacousy, Home District on land grants about 1827. John Junior was born about 1807 in Sligo (Drumcliff?)and his death certificate was from County York (District Vaughan), Upper Canada - date of death - 21 September 1886 (79 yrs.) I have no information at all on John the Elder except for the Lot Allocation numbers in the original land grants. John Junior's death certificate shows his religion as Church of England, and I would assume his father may have been of the same faith. Would anyone know where I might find Parish records to confirm this and learn of other family members names & dates? Also what would have been the most likely ship line they may have come to Canada on in that era from Sligo? Any help would be most appreciated. Thank you.
