I have John Gittins born 22 June 1815, Trefonen, Oswestry son of Edward (farmer) GITTINS and Margaret (nee HUGHES). Edward born ~1771 and married 1799. Edward's other children are Mary 1801, Edward 1803, Martha 1805, Margaret 12 May 1812 . John GITTINS, widow, brewer, marries Emma POOLE in Wolverhampton, 1855. John in Tettenhall as brewer till death in 1882.

Charles Herbert Barker was born in 1891 in Trefonen, son of Benjamin Barker, who married Annie Bromley. He was my Great Grandfather. I want to understand if there is a link to Thomas Barker, who wrote The Art of Angling in 1653, and re-"printed (by J.G.) for Humphrey Moseley, and are to be sold at the Princes Armes in St. Paul's Church-yard, 1659."

Hello, I am researching my family tree and I have a wedding certificate of my great, great grandfather Robert Bailey who married a Charlotte Edwards in Trefonen in Shropshire on August 19th 1916, I have found they went on to have children called John, David (my great grandfather), Margaret, William, Mary Ann, Georgina, Edith, Gwladys, and Alfred Bailey, they lived at 57 Mount Pleasant Trefonen, has anyone any links or help, if so thanks.
