My 3X Grt Grandfather, Benjamin Wigley, was born approximately 1766 according to his marriage record in Mold, Flintshire. The placename, which is unclear, can be read as Stentasey or Stenlasey, Shropshire, so the nearest I can come up with is Stanton Lacy. Any suggestions would be most welcome.

I am looking for assistance to determine when Somerset Wall was born. He married Anne Watkins at Stanton Lacy on 19 Feb 1733. There were two Somerset Walls born in Stanton Lacy: one was baptized on 15 March 1696/97 to Richard and Agigail Wall; one was baptized on 15 March 1699/1700 to Humphrey and Alice Wall. Any assistancce would be greatly appreciated.

She and William Walker had three children at Stanton Lacy of whom I am aware: William, bp. 8 May 1763; Ann, bp. 12 Jan 1770; and Richard, bp. 9 Jan 1774.
