red mail Morris Family Newport, Shropshire
I am looking for information on the family of John Morris Sr and Maria Gallagher Morris who lived in Newport, Shropshire in 1841. I have the 1841 Census for the family which shows John Morris Sr occupation as Hawker and their children as Michael Morris, Bridget Morris, Margaret Morris, and John Morris Jr. I have located baptism records for; Mary Morris Birth: Dec 1829 Baptism: 27 Dec 1829 Chester, Cheshire, England St Werburgh's Catherine Morris Birth: 7 Aug 1832 Baptism: 16 Aug 1832 Newport, Shropshire, England (Saints Peter & Paul) Margaret Morris Birth: 27 June 1836 Baptism: 10 July 1836 Newport, Shropshire, England (Saints Peter and Paul) John Morris Jr Birth: 30 Dec 1839 Baptism: 5 Jan 1840 Newport, Shropshire, England (Saints Peter and Paul) Maria Morris Birth: 1 Feb 1842 Baptism: 6 Feb 1842 Newport, Shropshire, England (Saints Peter and Paul) I do not have birth records for Michael Morris, Anne Morris or Bridget Morris while Anne Morris does not appear on the 1841 census I do have documentation proving she is one of John Morris and Maria Gallagher Morris children. I have hit a brick wall with this family as I cannot figure out what happened to the family AFTER 1841 with the exception of Michael Morris, Maria Morris and I have traced Margaret to 1861 Kent, England as a servant then I've lost her trail, I believe she may have married after 1861, but I have no idea who. I've looked through more 1851 census for Shropshire than I can count, but can't match any to this family. Any help I can get will be appreciated! Maria

red mail Plowman
Plowman line in Newport SAL: have traced back to Elizabeth Powell married Robert Plowman 8 Nov 1678 in Newport Shropshire. Need line further back.
Bagshaw, Simmons
Hannah Bagshaw was my gr grandmother and first married a Simmons, William is the only one that matches with a Hannah Bagshaw on the BMD. She married my gr grandfather Richard Richards 18 April 1869 and the record shows she was a widow. The 1871 census Has 2 Simmons children listed and that is why I assumed that she was married to a Simmons. The marriage to Richard has her as Hannah Bagshaw, daughter of John Bagshaw. I would like to verify that William was her first husband. My grandmothers birth listed mother Hannah formerly Bagshaw. It takes so long to receive the records from the UK to Canada, I was hoping that some kind sole may have access to the records. If not I will order it from the GRO. My apologies for being so vague with my first attempt.
red mail Piggott
Trying to trace the birth of my great great grandfather, who, according to his marriage and death certificate was born in Newport Shropshire. His name, Robert Piggott (Piggot) Piggett) doesn't appear in any of the birth registers and he only appears on cencuses from 1871. The 1871 census shows him at the Cavalary Barracks in the Manchester area, he was a soldier farrier. I have found his marriage record in 1875 to Elizabeth Bush and his death record following his death in 1912 which showed he had been living at the Chelsea Hospital as an in pensioner. I would be grateful if any one has any knowledge of him plese. Many thanks
