red mail Howells and Cadwallader
I believe that my 3xggrandfather Richard Howells was born to Daniel Howells and Mary Cadwallader in 1796 in Diddlebury, Shropshire. I thought that his parents also were born in Diddlebury, but I have not found any evidence of this in the parish records. Can anyone give me any information on these people?

red mail Edith Harrington born 1803 in Diddlebury
Edith Harrington married John Packer in London Old Church in 1824, but originally came from Diddlebury. Her first child, Edith Packer born in Diddlebury in 1825/6 was my Great, Great Grandmother. Edith Packer "married" Charles Bond goodness knows when!! (have not been able to find a marriage!) It would appear that Edith Packer went home to have her first child, Edith, and be with her Mother, Letitia Harrington in Diddlebury. The strange point to this story is that the next child of the couple, Emma was born in London in 1844! I am unable to find any other children of the marriage! Is anyone else researching this line of ancestry? I seem to be the only person in the world on this line, I am hoping that this site will prove me wrong. Please help. Many thanks, Carol
