STOCKTON WILLIAM
Wm. Stockton b. Albrighton February 1830, parents Joseph Stockton and Ann ??? siblings Emma, Fanny, Sophia, Joseph, James and Elizabeth. Married Mary Turner about 1856 and had William, Sarah Ann, Elias, Alfred, Charles, Henry and Mary Jane (all except Sarah Ann at Albrighton). Elias is my G.Grandfather. According to census reports, John was born in 1816 in Albrighton or Hall, Staffordshire. He died in Wolverhampton Union in 1883. He married Sarah Bishton in 1847 and had 3 sons, Henry, John and George. I can't find any information on him before 1841 so I don't know if he has siblings or any names. Anyone with any info would be great! :)

It is known that the name could be, 1st the clockmaker, 2nd the clock seller, and 3rd the clock owner. In the case of the owner it would usually be a person of position in the community.
