red mail Pritchard
I have a relative John Pritchard who I believe married an Elizabath. Would like any records on them. I know they lived here due to the Census but John was born in Bath. I cannot find a death entry for him and so am stuck on my family tree at this point. He had a son called Edward thomas Pritchard born 1842 married to sarah phillips born 1838. Any info gladly welcome.
red mail Vaughan family in Glasbury, pre 1825
I am looking for details of the parents/family of a David Vaughan, who emigrated to the US around 1825-30 and settled outside Philadelphia (Norristown). He worked in the coal mines and left Glasbury when he was about 17 years old. He married just shortly after arriving in Norristown to Margaret Hallowell. Any info would be greatly appreciated as one of his descendents has moved back to Wales after 175 years of the family living in Norristown.
red mail David Price - Father and son
Wanting info on David Price born 1825 and son also David Price born in Glasbury 1849. Have details of the latter's second wife and descendants. Would really appreciate info on his first wife, parents and siblings.
PRICE Innkeeper and Tailor
My PRICE family lived at Velindre, using St Peter's Glasbury as their parish church. My great-grandfather George PRICE, innkeeper of the Three Horseshoes and also a tailor, was born in 1861. His eldest son Rhys (one of nine children) was my grandfather - born 1889. Do these names ring any bells?
red mail Philip HARRIS
I am researching the family of Philip HARRIS a farmer born c 1792 in Garway, Hereford to Philip & Elizabeth. He married Jennette/Jenet/Jane Vaughan in 1817, Glasbury and had John (1817), James (1820), Margaret (1823), William (c1825), Mary (1827), Thomas (c 1829) and Ann (1832).
red mail Maddy
I have a family line going back to Glasbury in the 1750's. My family line contains several Evan Maddy's and I wonder if anyone has any Evans in their family line. My family tree is complete down to 1766 and has been verified by Birth, Marriage and Death Certificates to this point. I would like to get back further. My 4x gt grandmother was buried in Glasbury St. Peter Churchyard in 1806 but cannot find any record of her husband Evan being buried with her so wonder if he lived several more years and was buried elsewhere. He would have been in his 60's most probably in 1806. Thank you
Alfred Grover
I am trying to trace details of the Grover family. I have a listing from the 1901 census which shows Alfred Grover, born circa 1860 in Glasbury, S Wales, but the name is no-where to be found on the 1851 and 1851 census from Brecon. Can anyone assist?
